Reduce Your Risk of Dementia – A Roadmap to Cognitive Resilience
This interactive, evidence-informed program introduces the modifiable risk factors for dementia identified by the Lancet Commission on Dementia Prevention and translates them into clear, actionable steps for supporting long-term brain health.
The program can be offered as a one-day workshop or a multi-session series, and is available in person or virtually, depending on the needs of your organization or community.
Over the past decade, research has fundamentally changed how we understand dementia risk. Large population studies, including a landmark international review published in The Lancet, show that nearly half of dementia cases may be preventable.
At the same time, Dr. Dale Bredesen’s research has taken this question further—asking not only whether dementia risk can be reduced, but how Alzheimer's can be prevented, slowed, and in some cases reversed. Through laboratory research, clinical trials, and ongoing outcomes data, his work shows that cognitive decline is rarely caused by a single factor, but by multiple, interacting contributors.
The Bredesen Protocol® emerged from this research. It is a personalized, systems-based approach that identifies and targets the specific drivers of cognitive decline for each individual—using lifestyle strategies, medical optimization, and precision-guided interventions rather than a one-size-fits-all solution.
As a National Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach trained in the Bredesen Protocol, I help people turn what we now know about brain health into clear, sustainable habits that support long-term cognitive health.

One of the greatest honors of my life was helping to care for my mother, who had Alzheimer’s disease—and it was also one of the hardest things I have ever done.
Long before her diagnosis, Alzheimer’s was her deepest fear—one shaped by watching dementia affect both her mother and grandmother. Anyone who has witnessed cognitive decline unfold across generations understands how heavy and heartbreaking that awareness can be.
For a long time, that fear felt inherited—passed quietly from one generation to the next.
I learned about the Bredesen Protocol® too late to help my mother, but not too late to change the course of my family’s story—for myself, my daughters, and future generations.
Research now shows that dementia is not simply a matter of genetics alone. Lifestyle plays a meaningful role in brain health, even for those with a strong family history.
That understanding changed how I saw my own future. As I began applying the Bredesen Protocol® in my own life, it naturally led me to this work. Today, I help people move forward with informed hope—by turning evidence-based strategies into clear, practical steps that support long-term brain health.

The science and protocol behind preventing and reversing cognitive decline are freely available to everyone. In his New York Times bestselling book, The End of Alzheimer’s Program, Dr. Dale Bredesen explains both the research and the detailed lifestyle plan he uses with his own patients.
You’ll find step-by-step guidance on identifying your personal risk factors—such as inflammation, insulin resistance, or toxins—and practical strategies built around the KetoFLEX 12/3 nutrition approach, restorative sleep, movement, stress management, and more. It’s a comprehensive, hopeful guide for anyone ready to take evidence-based action to protect or improve their cognitive health.
